Jason Ruff is a seasoned leader with a distinguished background in both military and fire service careers. A U.S. Army veteran, he completed multiple combat deployments and held key leadership roles across several commands, including multiple command assignments and executive officer positions that shaped strategic operations and enhanced personnel development. His military service has been recognized with five Meritorious Service Medals and the prestigious Legion of Merit, reflecting his exceptional performance, leadership, and dedication to duty.
Transitioning his passion for service to the fire industry, Jason became an integral part of fire training and leadership in Laramie County. He currently serves as the Assistant Chief of Laramie County Fire District 10 and has held positions as Vice President and President of the Laramie County Fire Training Board. As a dedicated Training Officer, he continues to raise the bar for firefighter education and operational readiness throughout the region.
