EFFECTIVE SUICIDE PREVENTION FOR VETERANS & SURVIVORS

Proudly Sponsored By

Veterans face unique challenges: PTSD, physical disabilities, heightened loneliness, and a lack of adequate support, leading to a heightened risk of depression, anxiety, and even suicide, all from the noble pursuit of protecting others.

Over 20 veterans lose their lives to suicide each day. The system too often neglects those who have sacrificed the most.

Combat Recovery Foundation is dedicated to fighting this crisis head-on, combating this invisible enemy, and helping our heroes recover from their wounds of service.

April Final Friday - UPDATE
& Cow Camp Recovery Day

CRF Campsite
8:00 - 9:00 am
Our upcoming Final Friday Leadership meeting will be held at a new location this month. Instead of meeting at Desk Chair Workspace, we will be gathering at the CRF campsite on the mountain.

We will meet at 7:30 AM at JAX Outdoor Gear in Loveland and travel up to the campsite together for an 8:00 AM meeting start time.

Please be aware that there will be No Zoom option available, as the campsite does not have reliable service.

COW CAMP RECOVERY DAY (Optional)

Following the meeting, we will head to Cow Camp Recovery Day, a hands-on volunteer day in the Heart-J Center backcountry.

Event Details:

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (sharp start)

Meeting Location: Cedar Park gate off Cedar Creek Road (if NOT attending Final Friday Meeting)

This will be a rugged, off-grid workday focused on debris removal, site clearing, and improving access. While physically demanding, it is deeply meaningful work and an opportunity to help build the foundation of what comes next at Cow Camp.

Participation is completely optional, and even partial attendance is welcome.

If you would like to attend Cow Camp Recovery Day only, you can meet directly at the Cedar Park gate location listed above.

You can find full details, directions, and sign up below.
