Gene Campbell is a dedicated servant-leader whose life's work is built around a simple but powerful conviction: those who have sacrificed for this nation deserve unwavering support in return. As the Founder and Executive Director of True Patriot Outfitters — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Broomfield, Colorado — Gene created an organization whose motto says it all: "We are fishin' with a mission." Through kayak fishing, camping, and outdoor experiences provided at no cost, True Patriot Outfitters rebuilds camaraderie, restores purpose, and saves lives among active military, veterans, first responders, and their families. Under Gene's leadership, the organization has grown from a vision into a fully operational nonprofit serving over 100 participants in a single year, with an ambitious and expanding mission that reaches brothers and sisters in arms across the country.

Gene's commitment to those that serve extends well beyond his own organization. He serves as a Program Manager for the Romans Warrior Foundation Field Ops Division, a Therapeutic Coordinator for Heroes On The Water, and is the Host and Producer of the Double S Podcast — a six-year-running show on the Heroes Media Group Network dedicated to veteran wellness, mental health, and suicide prevention. An MBA-educated leader and former FEMA Incident Command certified first responder, Gene brings the same discipline and heart to every role he fills. Whether he's on the water with a veteran who needed a reason to hold on, or behind the mic amplifying voices that too often go unheard, Gene shows up — because to him, serving those that serve isn't a job. It's a calling.
