
Michael D. Montoya is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Invictus Global Response (IGR), a 501(c)(3) humanitarian nonprofit operating in Ukraine and other conflict-affected regions. A combat veteran and EOD/IEDD specialist, he has led IMAS-aligned mine action and training initiatives since 2022. After surviving a landmine injury in Ukraine, he continued his work in humanitarian demining and now advocates for responsible mine action, veteran involvement in humanitarian operations, and sustainable, community-led recovery in post-conflict environments.
